Ukraine: mobile health care for victims of war
MAGNA mobile teams operate around Kharkov and respond to newly emerging situations and intervene in newly liberated areas where access to any health care is very limited. The teams consist of a doctor, a nurse and a therapist.
We ensure improved access to quality basic health services for the conflict-affected population, increase the availability of medicines and have also created a system for sending seriously ill patients to secondary and tertiary health care facilities.

Why does MAGNA intervene in Ukraine?
The armed conflict in eastern Ukraine affected 5.2 million people. More than 3,000 civilians have been killed and another 9,000 injured since the conflict began in 2014. The humanitarian situation continued to deteriorate in Ukraine in 2018, with the number of people in need of humanitarian assistance and protection rising to 3.5 million. Ukraine is currently in a military conflict and the number of victims is constantly increasing.
