Syria: supporting secondary health care in Aleppo
The most important need in the war conflict in Syria is equipment and medical supplies for emergency medicine, essential to save human lives. MAGNA sends humanitarian aid from Slovakia to 6 hospitals in Aleppo, where its teams operate – anesthetic and resuscitation equipment, medicines, medical equipment, folding beds and blankets.
The situation is unclear at the moment, during the night the bombing in the eastern part of Aleppo stopped, but this afternoon the ceasefire was interrupted. People do not have access to drinking water, food or medical assistance. We have reported at least 700 seriously injured people inside who need immediate medical attention. The promised evacuation of the population has not yet started
